A makeover is a term applied to changing one's appearance, usually through cosmetics. Makeovers can range from something as simple as a new haircut, to the extreme of cosmetic surgery. Makeovers are often popular television subjects. Long an element of daytime talk shows, they have recently moved into the limelight in television shows such as Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Other popular makeover shows include What Not to Wear, Extreme Makeover, Ambush Makeover and Pimp My Ride.

    Tomorrow, ere dawn, I will travel south, away from the Abbey and toward a small village called Goldshire. Much have I accomplished these past few days: Marshal McBride sent me to eliminate some of the vicious Kobolds camped to the north, near Echo Ridge Mine, and I served him admirably, slaying many of the vermin before I braved the mine’s fetid depths to root out the evil living there.

    This morning, PC gamers woke up to learn that another of their prized exclusives is being ported to next-generation consoles. Activision and id Software have announced that Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is now in development for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. No release date or rating was included in the announcement.
